I was looking for 16oz of the TR if somebody has that much. I would consider an even up 16oz for 16oz trade. I use to get Collinite locally and all the places stopped carrying it. they are places here that have wax so old I had never seen it before :laugh:

Well here is the way I am looking at it. the old stuff looked good, easy to apply and was super durable. I am getting the older stuff for less than I can get the new stuff. so for me it is not why get it.... rather why the heck not ? I will keep a few quarts around and will be set for a long time. maybe it is me but usually when a company is made to change their formula it does not seem the same. this is what * I * feel. take it for what it is worth.
 
I haven't had any of the "Old" stuff for probably a year I would guess. I sell too much volume, but nevertheless I have had several requests lately. I am guessing it is from the board here.



If you can get the "old" stuff for less by all means I would buy it too! But as far as the difference??? I see none. The odor, color, and performance haven't changed at all in my opinion.



The only way at this point I think your going to get any old stuff is to find a local shop that just doesnt' sell much. You might use Collinite's home page dealer locator to find some local shops.

Well to be honest I prefer the texture of the old stuff. the new stuff is a lot more of a liquid. performance wise we would need to set up a test to determine the outcome. guess I am old school. was using 476s back in the 90's.
 
I know 476 changed as well, but I don't know if the can changed any text.



I bet some of you hawkeye's might be able to find any changes made to the label!

I have heard about the 476 changing but have not compared labels. hey one thing is for sure Collinite and fashion have the same motto. " everything old is new again " it is funny how I got away from this brand and now I am back into it :think2
