I started this project with a neighbor last November.

Today we hit it with:
-S&W (moderate dust from the car cover)
-PwC x 1 (a few light marks from the car cover)
-EX x 1
-Natty's Blue Wax x 2 (Very wet looking on red and black)
-Interior = NL
-Wheels/Rims = BnB
-Pipes = PPP

We're getting started on the engine bay.... no photos of that yet.

This bad boy is a blast to drive - it purrs like an angry lion!

Here are a few shots after today's work..... I hope everyone enjoys!

You just don't see to many of these around.

Looks awesome! I love the black and red, fantastic combo! Cant wait to see the engine pics, be sure to post. This one should go on PB's website! Great car.

Don't know if it's the dial up, or my photo links......

Here are a few repeats in case the first batch didn't come across the line. I'll load the rest next week on the high speed line.

Thanks Mikeyzr. This one was a lot of work. We spend 2-3 weekends polising it out last year with the cyclo. The interior is mint, and many of the parts are very hard to find.

The engine is about 50% done..... don't want to post anything until it's up to DC standards :)

Awesome car. Nice detail. What's she got under the hood?
It's pushing over 500 hp -has a few extras on it these days.... I'll ask the owner for the specs. 57K on the car, and the owner treats it like his first born!

Natty's Blue?? What's that?
Does Steve have a new product that I don't have?
:huh

By the way, The Chevelle looks awesome :D

gnev8 - Natty's Blue is PB's improved Natty's for dark colored paints. Even MORE gloss and shine! Look at the sticky in this forum for "Something new in blue..." You can read up on it there.

Very Nice does it have a 402(aka 396) or a 350 ?

I had a '70 version (454 LS5) for about 2 yrs way back in 1976. To think I sold it for what I paid for it $3,500 becuase I needed money for college. That SS would be worth maybe $50-$60k today. Blue w/white stripes, AC, M22 4sp, I can almost still feel the rumble when it started up.

I'll have to ask the owner for some of the details. I'd hate to guess what the car is worth. The owner said if I burn the paint I owe him 15K.

It has 56K original miles on it. It's one of the few that I've seen that has the original dash and radio. A lot of these cars had the dash, etc.. cut up to put aftermarket stereo equipment in them.

I'll post a few more pictures later this week. I'm on a dial up connection right now, and it will take a month of Sunday's.

:car ....that is a good reflection you got on your hood.....briliant....simply brilliant

a friend has i think a '69 SS....i think its the silver color. hes just putting a new engine in it.

Here's are a few more shots (using the high speed connection). Trying to download via dial up isn't a good thing.....
