I was thinking about out trying this combo on my 2001 lexus is 300. the paints in prett good shape so i was gonna polish with #7 and put SG directly on top and do a few layers of that with 24 hours in between than top with some s100. How does everyone think the #7 and Sg will work??

That's a no-no..#7 has oils in it to give your finish a wet look. Carnauba over that is fine to keep the "wetness" in and seal it from the weather, however the SG will not find it a good bonding base.

AIO plus SG works well. I used this on my friends Lexus R300 and the results were good. Another coat of SG a week later made a noticeable improvement.

I used this combo on my mom's new corolla also. This is a good combo for new metallics.

You could also use PIII MG to prep the SG
