So being spring is around the corner my schedule is about to get very busy! To start things off I had a mobile job on a 67 Chevelle in Marina Blue.
I had met the owner towards the end of the car show season last year and he contacted me over the winter to get an appointment to get his Chevelle looking good for spring time.
So when I arrived I got right to work.
Waterless wash using Mckees N914.
Wheels and tires cleaned with Mckees N914 mixed at WW ratio
Decontamination Nanoskin medium grade prep pad/PC 7424/ Mckees 914 mixed WW.
The paint had a fair bit of sanding marks left in the paint so to speed things up the trusty makita rotary was used.
Cutting- Makita rotary/ Tufbuf black wool pad/ Americana IAT 1500 compound.
Finish polishing- G21/ 3D 505a/ Orange LC pro thin pad
Paint sealed with Mckees 37 new High Def Paint Sealant. This new sealant went on very easily using my PC with a red LC pro thin pad. After letting it sit for 30 min I wiped it off with ease using a clean supreme 530 microfiber towel.
Tires received 2 coats of Mckees 37 Gloss Tire Gel.
Chrome bumpers were polished with McKee`s new Fast Metal Polish.
Glass Cleaned with Invisible glass.
I didn`t really get any before pics. This color was tough to capture defects on my camera phone.
