Very nice work indeed!

Am I the only who isn't really feelin the Foose wheels though? Don't get me wrong I love the wheels and I love the car, but it just doesn't flow too well.

But hey thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.

The paint scheme on the Chevelle was pretty popular when they were new. I saw a lot of them (not 454s) but none as nice as this one. Incredible job on the paint. I agree with lastdetail that the wheels don't fit the period. I also recall almost all of the SS Chevelles ran on raised white letter tires. I rode to high school in an SS396 and still got to classes late! :chuckle:

360 hp LS5 or 450 hp LS6?

Not sure Scott .. original air cleaner wasn't on it and I forgot to ask.

And on the wheels I agree.... not my taste but not my car either..

Very nice work on a sweet car!

The level of orange peel looks to be on the low side.

No orange peel anywhere .. car was color sand and a great job done on it. Even the rotary work was great. The guy must have used multi steps to polish it out then a new or very clean pad and fine polish on the last pass as the holograms were only seen in full sun at good angles.

Cool car, beautiful color. I agree with the comments about the wheels, they don't really go well with the car but to each his own. Quick question though, I though you're supposed to wait about three months for the paint to fully cure before you wax and or seal a new paint job, or is 45 days enough?

Actually rule of thumb is 30 days .. but I advise people to ask the painter .. we did .. this paint was baked and its fine .. matter of fact they did a layer of gold class on it prior to me polishing it all off.

absolutly beautiful chevelle. nicest i've seen. put some duragloss aqua wax on it and be utterly amazed.:waxing:
