6.6 Earthquake in HI!

I wish . . .
Just heard the news this morning that there was a 6.6 'quake in HI on the big island causing damage & minor injuries.

Hope Ranney & all our other "citizens" over there escaped unscathed!!
 
I heard that on the news too!! I was thinking the same thing, hoping that all of our friends there in Hawaii are doing okay. Scary!!
 
Thanks for all your concerns. Today, they've upgraded the 1st quake to 6.7 and the 2nd one to 6.0. There may have been 1 death, not actually sure. I'm on the island of Oahu, same as Ranney. Spoke with him today and we're all fine. Just lost power for most of the day. The island of Hawaii sufferred the most damage to roads, landsides, and buildings.

The most common talk around my water cooler was the fact that we could be better prepared for such a disaster.

Zesty-Man has been MIA for about a year - maybe he's too busy having friends with friends to chat with us anymore :(

Nourah..it's "having friend with friends" ...

Good to hear everyone on the Islands are ok...even Oprah's house survived :rolleyes:
