hi all,

im sure you all know of the video that was posted where the guy details exotic cars for a living.

i believe the video was from fifth gear and i saw here in the forums he recently detailed a bugatti veyron.

if you watch the video, he applies the carnuba wax in the end by hand. if you guys havent seen it here is the link to youtube:

YouTube - Costly Car Detailing *Crazy*

If the carnuba he uses cost around 6,000pounds uk money, then in US dollars i can buy another car with that money!!

now does anyone know of the brand he uses for his carnuba wax? i thought pinnacle souveran wax was expensive but this cost alot more. If you guys know the brand let me know.

The wax is Zymol Royale. The video said 6,000 pounds, but I've seen it on sale for a little more than $7,000 (down from over $9,000).
Another one of his details that is fun to watch is of a Bugatti. It could probably be Googled. It shows Mark, his assistant, cleaning the depressions on the engine bolts. Good stuff.

Yes, but what is MONEY when it comes to detailing your car? I think you simply HAVE to have this wax to have your car looking shiny when riding to these boring charity dinners at Trump's or Kennedy's. My driver James just wouldn't detail my Bentley with anything else and my car is simply a scream when I arrive with it at the yacht club on the weekend. 6000$? Puleease! My wife spends more at the hair salon every day...:D

yeah its zymol, if i could afford it i would have that tub of $7000 wax. It contains 73%(?) of white carnauba. Which is about 20-30% more then your average wax.

agreed...I wonder how hard that stuff is. I know carnuba in its natural form is like cement and what they add makes it workable...but at 73% I wonder what its like putting it on.

Harry for $5000 you can have a tub of Red , White & Blue with Unlimited lifetime refills :lol2: (cash only)

Yeah, but you're going to have to work up one of those authentic crystal, high density, extremely clear, plastic containers. :D

Well, O.K. be that way. Back to the Royale for me. :rofl It didn't make any sense to have $12,000 worth of wax in one cupboard anyway. :D

besides that , the way that rabbi goes through wax I'd probably lose my shirt if he bought it:eek:
