I was back at Motorwerks today doing some cars. The 550 was just a basic wash. It was the first one that I have been up close and personal with. I never liked them till today. It was starting to grow on me.

The SRT8 Magnum was a beautiful car in metallic black. I was told to give it a VERY THOROUGH detail so the day I was expecting to end at 2 ended at 6. I don't know what they(who ever he takes the car to) did to the hood of this thing, it felt like 80 grit sandpaper and looked like $h!t. The rest of horizontal panels(roof and top of fenders, top of doors) needed to be clayed cause they all felt the same. Light swirling on the car but crazy bad on the hood which is all I was told to take care of.

Process:

Wash with ONR

Exhaust done with Deep Chrome

Clay horizontal panels

Clay hood

Clay hood

Clay hood

A little more claying on the hood

OP on Flex white LC x2

re washed hood with ONR

UPGP on entire car

20 minutes later QD'd with Deep Detail( I put the UPGP on pretty thick and was scared it would streak like crazy when "cured")

No sun shots of the Magnum sorry but they were still working on the car so couldn't take it outside.

I never liked them either. But if you want a Ferrari to be a daily driver this is the one to have. It just seems wrong to have the engine up front. But and this is a big But!!! I sure the hell wouldn't turn one down.

Cars look great. Excellent job on that hood.

Yeah I always said if I'm going to drop over 100k on a car, I want the engine behind me. Now that I have a car with the engine behind me(no where near 100k LOL) I guess I could go for the front engine Ferrari.

Thanks
