$50 to spend, not much but it's what I got.

What am I missing?

I already have Meguiars #26, Meguiars #9, Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax, Meguiars SCRATCH X, Deep Crystal® system Polish, Deep Crystal® System Paint cleaner, Meguiar's® Gold Class, Meguiar's Cleaner Wax, 3M Perfect-It Show Car Paste Wax, Poorboy's SSR 2.5, I know I'm missing a few items from my inventory but it covers my basics. And No I'm not a Meguiar buff, just things that I can get locally and things I know that work....

But what am I missing? The catch... I have $50 to spend.

Give me some ideas on what I should get. I have the PC with Sonus DAS Pad Kit, plenty of MF towels and cotton rags along with cleaning solvents, but could use some thing for the outside. Possible something with some more cutting power. I plan on picking up a rotory buffer in a week or so.

Along with the heavier cutting compound I'd like to pick up Klasse Car Wax... or something similar and about the same cost too.

I've been happy and my customers too, But I know there is always better stuff out there. Seems like a noobie question to ask, But asking is half the battle. :P

Your suggestions please? :help:

thanks for the help :)

SSR 2.5 should be more than enough for most cars. If you need more power beyond what a PC can do with SSR 2.5, you need a rotary (and a heavy cut compound). Do you have any clay?

Pete

Yup, plenty of clay. I knew I forgot a few things on the list...

SSR2.5 works well. But some of these cars that people are coming up to me with is screaming for a rotory. I just haven't had the money to buy one, but will soon!

If you want to step up your polishing efforts with a more agressive approach, get some OHC. It's good bang-for-the-buck. Then buy a couple of 4" pads and a small backing plate for your PC and you might be surprised what you can accomplish.

For inexpensive, durable LSPs, consider Colinite or Duragloss 105. I don't have the URL with me at work, but there's a place that sells 845 for $15 with free shipping. Duragloss 105 should be available at Carquest for about $10. If you go with Duragloss, consider the pre-wax bonding agent.

Bbasso- With all the LSPs and paint cleaners you already have, I sure wouldn't bother buying any Klasse ;)

I'd get a 4" pad setup for the PC and some Hi-Temp Extreme Cut Leveler, and then save the rest of the money towards the rotary.

But IMO you'll be surprised at how much correction you can do with the PC and that H-T EC.

Should I really bother with the 4in pad setup since I already have the Sonus DAS Pad Kit and plan on buying a rotory?

This Hi-Temp Extreme Cut Leveler you speak of, got a link?

as for the interior items, I'm good for a long time. QD's too.

I dunno...but until you get the rotary the 4" pads would allow you to do some real correction. I simply can't do it with larger pads on the PC. The smaller pads can be handy on the rotary too, I use mine all the time.

For Hi-Temp stuff, I go to: Top of the Line Auto Detailing Supplies

If there is a product that you want let me know I proably have it and dont use it anymore. I have become extremely selective in what I now use and have ton of products that I dont. Also have a 33oz jug of Klasse AIO if you want to buy some.

4" foam pads from that site are they worthy of buying or find another set?

Looks like a lot of good tuff on there including the Hi-Temp Extreme Cut Leveler. thanks for that link!

33oz jug of Klasse AIO, looking to sell how much or all of it? PM me a price please.

I would add Poli-seal to this.

Duragloss is on sale as stated in another thread at Carquest.
