The 4 Secrets To Grow Your Business –

I thought just a post on Craigslist and I'd be golden.  $20 full details.  Endless stream of money!

All very true.  I think one thing that causes many to fail or struggle is not having a plan going in.  Not just a plan to find customers but actually planning out how you will grow your business.  If your short range goals aren't pointed in the direction of the long range goals you could find yourself spending a lot of time and energy having to get back on the track you want.  So many people enter this business and learn by trial and error.  They think it is the cheapest and easiest way to move up.  Proper training from the beginning can be a worthwhile investment.  Not just to prevent costing yourself money for a mistake but being able to take on more profitable jobs sooner.
