4" PC Pads Recommendation

Hello All, Im looking into the 4" pads but I was wondering what color pads are used the most? And what I should start out with? I know it depends on the work I will be performing but would like to hear some advice on what most are using when it comes to medium - heavy paint correction? Products I use are 1Z and Poorboy's line if this helps.

I use the Cyclo pads, usually the green polishing ones. But I'll bet that most people recommend you use something else, probably something like the orange Lake ones.

I have the white polishing and orange light cut LC pads. I find this is all I need. Orange 4 inch pads are pretty aggressive so I don't need the yellow cutting pads. I apply LSP's by hand so no need for a finishing pad.

I like the orange lake ones on my cyclo, I find them to be superior in quality to the cyclo brand ones (too bad they cost twice as much, but its worth it IMHO). I dont actually use the PC to spot buff, but my experience with the cyclo lends me to suggest using an orange LC pad with SSR2.5/SSR3 (bad/worse scratch), and then polish out the hazing when you polish the rest of the car with a 7" white pad and SSR2 or SSR1.

Where do you purchase Cyclo and or LC pads? I was looking to place my order with TOL due to there AIO prices being the lowest and wanted to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

I get the Cyclo brand pads from TOL, but note that everybody else seems to hate them, so be careful about taking my advice on this one. I've been using them for so long (20 years :o ) that I'm just used to them.

I haven't checked their website for a while, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have other 4" pads too.
