4 Inch Polisher Pads?

Are the 4 Inch pads that are used via a dual-action polishers like the Porter Cable 7424 intended to be used to apply product to the entire vehicle or just for concentrating on small spots?



I like using my Porter Cable, but don't really like to apply product using the larger pads.

You can use the 4" pads to polish the whole car or use the 5.5" pads.
