4 inch pads - Cyclo Premium White or LC Crimson Hydrotech

I am looking for a 4inch pad for my Polishing Pal (handle) strictly for applying wax/sealant. Would the Cyclo White be better or should I get the LC Crimson Hydrotech? Thanks.

Shadow85- I hear the current Cyclo white pads are a bit softer than the ones I have, but even those were fine for LSPing. IMO most of the hair-splitting about which pads to use for such stuff is unnecessary; you want a pad with no functional cut of its own so you don't instill any marring. Beyond that, different foams will work "better" (scare-quotes intentional as the diffs will be minor) with different LSPs. The only LSPing pad I think is worth getting excited about is the LC gold one, and I dunno if that comes in 4".

Other than that pad, I'd just try something and see how you like it, with no worries about it being "the wrong one" in any meaningful sense. Is one thicker/thinner or otherwise more/less appealing to you? Go with what you find appealing.

Thanks Accumulator. Yea the gold pad looks really interesting but doesnt come in 4 inch (I really dont want something massive for handle application). The Cyclo whites are 7.99 for 2. The LC Crimsons are $5.99 each. So I guess since the difference are not great enough to fuss about, the Cyclo's are prob more economical.

shadow85- As I said, they've apparently changed the Cyclo finishing pads (now more gentle, not that they needed it IMO), but FWIW all the pads I've used from them have lasted a long, long time. So yeah, I'd think those would be a very cost-effective way to go.
