4'' CCS pads.. different vendors with diff. foam backings?

i've been shopping for some 4'' ccs pads, and ive noticed that only properautocare.com had pictures with the blue backing

other vendors such as pinnaclewax.com and autogeek.com, don't show these backings on their pictures. but are these the exact same pads?

upon a few searches, i've noticed some people having different problems with different backings. these were rather old posts, so have these problems been since fixed if anybody knows?



my other question is should i avoid one over the other, as i have found there are both regular, and 'low profile' pads available. and whats the difference between these and spot repair? any help on the subject would be appreciated! thank you
 
The constant pressure pads are a CMA exclusive. I don't think they are needed with 4 inch pads since they have a smaller contact area vs a larger pad.
 
i plan on using these on the lip of my wheels, so im wondering if i'm angling the PC in a way that it isn't perfectly flat.. will one be better than the other at absorbing that ?
