3rd time is a charm

I have finally gotten the results I wanted with my PC7424

First time was just a quick light polish to improve clarity and did little to no correction.

My second time was my first attack at correction and was a disaster!! I moved the machine too fast, used way to much pressure and the surface hazed up.

THis time around I spent some time watching a video from Mike Phillips that I bought online. Learned to slow the machine down and let it do the work, use lighter pressure (even markered a dot to watch my rotation speed) and use a much smaller work area.

My process was:

-6" FK Green Pad SSR2.5

-6" FK Blue Pad SSR1

-White LC VC 6.5" Pad and FK 303 Glaze

-Mothers Reflections Wax/ Red LC Pad

-FK Pink Wax by hand

The result was amazing! I will upload some pics soon. Sorry no befores, I was too embarrased.

The FK pads gummed up easily, luckily I had ordered a few. I used 3 of each for the entire car with the SSR's. I did two passes on eash panel per SSR though, VW clear seemed to really need this.

I love my PC, and my very forgiving girlfriend :)

Glad to hear things worked out so well. You deserve a big :xyxthumbs for stepping back, studying up, and *thinking* about the whole thing.
