Who has used the 3M SRC polish?
I used it on 3 cars so far and it does a great job so far. SIP does have a longer work time, but 3M SRC polish works better on a polish pad compared to SIP. SIP is still the king of medium polishes in my mind and usage, but 3M SRC maybe an alternative when SIP acts up on rotary.
My dislikes
1. The fumes that it gives off and it smells like harsh wet paint. The fumes will get to you.
2. The spatter can be a pain if you do not wipe up fast.
3. Takes too much polish to do a fender
My likes
1. Performs well at restoring gloss on just a polish pad.
2. Cheap price at $27 (But compared to SIP at $49.95, It takes 3M 4 times the amount of product versus SIP). So in the end SIP is still cheaper per car.
3. Works perfect with no skip and jump.
Will add more to the list as I do more cars this week with it.
SIP is still the king in my book, but it is still interesting to try and test new products as they come out.:spot
Thanks
Ryan
