3M PI II RC still available, or not?

I was just poking around on 3M's website and came across a full listing for good old PI II RC, but I thought it was pulled due to VOPC regulations?

Even though the PI-II stuff is older, it was the PI-III stuff that was pulled. Reminds me that I gotta order a gallon of the PI-III RC/MG while I can still get 'em.

Pep Boys used to be a"haven" for PI II. Do they still carry it now?

you can find 3m Rubbing compound on the shelf at WalMart in the 8oz container. depending on the store they might have the new VOC compliant version.

Is that the same thing as the PI II ? When I first started practicing with my rotary I used PI II and prior to that I used to use it via PC and even by hand. I've moved on to PI III among many other polishes and compounds.

from what I've read its a relabelled consumer bottle-the older RC was brown and the newer is cream colored

The bottle or the product? I have never seen black PI II RC product. Mine is tan colored.

Environmental regulations. The manufacturers of car care products have new guide lines about the percentage of certain chemicals that can be in the products. Some products were pulled and some were reformulated.
