3M Perfect It Glaze

I just started using this product on a recent clients car. I've always had great results with just 3M Finese It and a white or orange pad, but I heard the glaze would enhance it further.
I did a section of the hood with Finese It and followed it up the Perfect It(glaze) and it doesn't appear to have the same pop as the Finese It polish alone.
It wasn't until I cleaned the surface off with my 50/50alcahol/water mist that I started to see better results. Is there a filler in the Perfect It and has anyone else experienced this same issue?

The 3M Perfect it glaze is swirl remover for dark colored cars...or a light cut liquid compound....it was renamed here not long back...there should not be any fillers in it...it states that on the website...the Finese is a machine polish designed to work with both rotary and PC...I do believe that this one has filler in it...I used it year back and not knowing that it did.... I could tell once I had washed the car a few times...
