May 16, 2006 #1 M math New member wath do you think of pad with this shape? I don`t see nobody use pad like this here. Should i buy another kind of pad for compounding? When i use this pad for componding, my speed is set at 1200 rpm. Is this good or too slow??

Back when I only did detailing I ran out of a pad one day and those waffle pads where all that my local paint store had in stock. I hated them on my PC. They would probably do much better on a rotary but for the Pc I did not care for them at all.

May 16, 2006 #3 I imported_Detailing Technology New member I have used them for years. I also use Edge 2000 waffle pads. I prefer them to flat pads on a rotary.
