This stuff hasn't been discussed as often as it used to due to the discovery of other great glazes/fillers like GEPC, Vanilla Moose, Meg. Swirl Free Polish.
I've had this 32oz. bottle of 3M Imperial Hand Glaze for atleast a year and a half, but I've never tried it. I don't know why. Yesterday I tried it out on my Dad's 1972 Corvette, that was repainted very well about 7 years ago. It's kept in the garage other than weekly or biweekly joy rides. I've removed most of the swirls in it from his previously bad washing habits, but some stubborn ones still remain.
At first I tried the IHG with a white polishing pad and the PC at about 4. I used a little too much product so it was pretty tough to get off. Then I decreased the amount of glaze and it was still kinda tough. I decided to try it by hand with a MF towel folded into 8ths. I used much less product and the results were greats. Wipe on and wipe off. I moved it out into the sun and looked at it from many angles. I saw no streaking or oily residue and the swirls were definitely decreased. Probably the closest I've ever had to a perfect finish.
Next, topped with S100 to increase the length I'll have this shine. Amazing.
There might be other products that are easier, but as long as I continue to have great results I'll work on finishing up this bottle since I have PLENTY.
I probably forgot some kind of info., but I'm sure you guys will let me know.:xyxthumbs
