3M Clear Bra Edge Liftoff - DIY Repair?

I'm picking up an 07 car with a 3M clear bra installed. On the driver's side mirror, the outermost edge of the bra has lifted off away from the mirror--it is about 1/4" long and extends about 1/4" into the bra material to formed a small 1/2-circle, milky white "open bubble".

Unfortunately, the bra was installed in a city about 4 hours from me, so I can't go back to the original installer to have it repaired.

Is this something I can repair myself? (hair dryer?)

If the bubble is open to the edge of the film:

Get a small spray bottle and use a diluted alcohol solution (75% warm water 25% Alcohol). Spray the solution under the bubble and use a firm stiff squeegee like this one wrapped in a paper towel.

Supplies Unlimited, Inc.: 3M Gold Squeegee

Work the alcohol solution out of the bubble and keep working the solution out to the edge of the film until the adhesive adherse again. The paper towel will help absorb the solution as it is worked out of the bubble.

Hopefully the adhesive will grab again?

Let us know how it worked.

I have used Zaino for 10 years and its products are by far the best and that is after recently trying Ultima products, which are heavily promoted on this site. For the past year or so the Zaino Z-CS clear seal has worked very well for me and is easy to apply, although if I have the time, I like the Z5 Show car polish. The only Zaino products that I do not recommend are the tire gloss as it is not durable at all and runs when water hits it and the leather treatment. I had hoped that the Ultima products lived up to their billing here and to their VERY high price, but Zaino remains the top product array, despite their relatively pedestrian packaging and promotion compared to Ultima. I hate to admit it, but it appears that I was paying for Ultima advertising and packaging, not superior performance.
