3M 9418NA polishing pad

I was at Wal-Mart earlier and found 3M 9418NA polishing pad on clearance for $5.00 each. The pad is a firm (white pad firmness), waffle surface, grey foam, is 5.25in or 133mm in diameter and is part of the 3M DIY line. I searched the 3M site and google but found no info on this pad.



Has any used this pad?

What products can be used with this pad?



I bought two and plan to use one for windshield polish and the other I will test on the paint.

Check out the attached image. I assume this is what you're referring to, right?



I haven't used this pad personally, as it is too small for my DA polisher. Alfalfameister uses this pad on a cheap B&D orbital to apply stuff like IHG. You can PM him for more info. The general feedback on this pad is that it has very very minimal cut, to almost none.



IMO, it's a glazing or waxing pad.
