3D Maxspider Kagu Floor Mats-WeatherTech Alternative

Anyone here have these?

Everyone is familiar with WeatherTech and Husky.

I`ve had WeatherTech liners for years,(since 2006). I`ve experienced quality issues with the material thickness and fit. The older ones were excellent. The newer ones,(2016) are, frankly, not worth the money to me. They just don`t fit tight enough and don`t cover enough of the area where the dead pedal is.

The Huskys fit about the same as the WeatherTechs for less money. They scuffed easily and I could never get them to appear scuff-free.

I’ve talked to a couple people on another board that have the 3D mats and liked them. I always liked the WT’s, found them really effective but the plastic they’re made of is a bit slick. Could never get my foot comfortable without it sliding around a bit, so I didn’t get WT’s in my new car.

I`m going to switch over to the 3D`s this fall.

The WT`s also look a little too industrial and dated for my taste.

We have the Maxspider 3D mats in one car. They look much nicer than some of the other offerings. Rear mats do NOT fit well. They are very light compared to WeatherTech. They look dirty quickly during the winter season.

I found them on Amazon Prime for a great price. They just happened to have the P/N we needed.

Heh heh, I can understand the "too industrial", but saying they look *DATED* cracks me up for some reason...

Hey,I`m a cutting-edge kind of guy. With my Cyclo. And my rotary phone,(which in the basement somewhere). And my tube radios. B)

I still have a dwell-tach and timing light. I showed them to the dealer techs. Only one of them knew what they were. Never used one, though.

Older- Heh heh, given our apparent similarities regarding, uhm...modern technology...I`m even more amused that you described those mats as "dated"!

And yeah, one of our basement phones is rotary too.
