3D Instant Shine: Love it!

I am a fanatic for clean wheel wells. And I am also lazy. So I couldn't wait to try 3D's Instant Shine. It works as advertised and really makes hard to reach plastic look dark and even in tone. Really hides the dirt and imperfections. :thumb: I've used several other brands of products like this in the past, but this is the best by far, IMO.

My car just came from a weekend at the track (hence the dirty tires, no comments from the peanut gallery) and was generally filthy. A quick spray with Instant Shine and I was ready for important things...like sleep.

I always used Instant Spray from Stoner until I bought 3D Instant Shine, It dries faster, has less oil and does a great job on a/c vents, engines and front grills of cars, specially if they are black. I also give a 10 to this product.

wow Brad do you ever clean your cars? :becky: Look at them wheel wells. :surprised: LOL IM kidding. Man I'm gonna have to order some of that now. Thanks for a great review!

Well, um, you see, I let them get really bad so I could have a 'before' shot. Er, yea, that's it. Like on purpose. I'm sticking with that. :becky:

Brad B.- Any trouble controlling the overspray/etc.? Aerosols generally make me nervous....

That's one of the things I liked. The spray pattern was very fine, and relatively narrow. So you could shoot with accuracy and had very little overspray. It was very neat, meaning not messy.

How well does this stuff hold up to water, in particular, frequently encountering sprinkler puddles on the road? I'm always looking for something easy to use but I don't have to regularly reapply because it got splashed or rain washed it. Does it repel dust?

Haven't encountered water yet, but it isn't oily and doesn't seem to attract dust. Looking good after almost a week.

I'll be keeping my eye on this one. Today is the first official day of the wet season here and I'll be needing something that can stand up to it for a reasonable amount of time. Thanks for letting us all know about Instant Shine.
