I did this car (my girlfriend's) 4 months ago when it was bought. It had Final Polish with some Duragloss #111. It was still holding up and beading very nicely.

Today I had a detail sheduled (yesterday's no-show) and it cancelled at the last minute. I was just gonna do the weekly wash in this car but decided to detail it and take some more pictures. Sadly, the pictures did not come out like I wanted and this color was hard to catch in sun due to the metallic color glaring my carmera...

NXT Tech Wax

I really like this lately, along with a few other OTC products that just blow the botique stuff away, plus I'm actually looking for a product that sheets rather than beads. This wax beads the first few washes (because of the oils) but once that washes off, Im still left with a nice barrier with a good shine to it. I tested NXT on my sisters car which has had it for 4 months and until now is starting to diminish.

Looking very nice! Sure do have a lot of nice rides to detail! That side shot is unreal! :)

If you're looking to try something new on the cars to get the sheeting effect, I would try out M21 from Meguiars. I love the stuff, I gave away my Zaino and the rest of my sealants as Im only using this now.

Car looks great there mate, very nice. :2thumbs:

I too like the NXT Tech Wax and the finish is gives, but have found durability to be a lot less than 4 months from it, though that will likely be down to the large amounts of rain we get here in Scotland!

Sweet! I love the way NXT looks on metallics, doesn't make them "POP" out, but it really makes them shimmer when the sun hits it. Looks really wet, too.

Looks great! Do you use the rotary on the lower side moldings? OR are they too dirty to by rotary for fear of dirtying up your pad? Also, what did you use on the tires and wheels? What RPM for 106ff in the paint?

Once again, amazing results with NXT Tech Wax. I love the liqiud form. A little goes a long way. I use 21 to top NXT sometimes as NXT has more sealant properties to it. I too have had 3-4 months worth of coverage with NXT. Remember, 2 coats are the best for NXT.

excellent work...that is a great looking car. not sure which i like more...the car or by the looks of it, the location? (beautiful weather...palm trees...)

/depressed as winter is closing in on us here is WI :(

Joshua- Thanks. I'm actually expecting some #21 in the mail soon that Greg is sending me. I was planning on topping it next week.

Dave KG- I used to feel NXT was not durable as well. But recently after trying it on a few cars and testing its limits on my sister's car, I find the beading, initial gloss, and slickness to go away quick, but the actualy protection and sheeting action to stay for a lot longer. After the 4 month mark though I find my sisters car holding water instead of sheeting.

AZ- Yes I used the rotory on the lower side skirt. Its awkward, thus forcing me to use it at a low RPM. I clean the car well before polishing (not sure what was the question). I polished using different speeds. 1500rpms for the hood and trunk. 1200rpms for the upper side panels. 1000 rpms for lower panels. It gets hard and awkward to polish lower areas using faster speeds.

Paradigm- The weather was actually today. Our summers of rain, are your winters of snow. I may get maybe one day of no rain, followed by a variety of drizzles, rain, downpours, and flooding, all ruining my clean car lasting no less than half a week. Then the cycle repeats itself. I'm anxious for our "winter" season as we tend to get 3-4 full dry days followed by a light showery day, then a new cycle...:)
