There is no cure!
car was in bad shape. paint felt bad, no protection, and light swirls and some scratches. last time i detailed it i just left it with a coat of 3m show car wax. no-1 has looked after it since. process was good. tried out some new products (adams s&s remover and megs #21)

process:

wheels/tires-simplegreen dilluted
adams car wash
claymagic
adams s&s remover-polishing pad
aio-polishing pad
#21-finshing pad (thanks shotime for the sample.)

adams s&S remover was great. u could even feel how fine the abrasives were. it took out everythign i expected it to. all the lugiht swirls were gone and the scratches were less noticeable. products breaks down normal, doesnt take forever but isn't no poorboys product which is great because they breakdown quickly. product dusts a lot and removal is iffy :(. did not haze in anyway but left the finsh lacking gloss. aio quickly cover that.

i aio'd the entire car. when i say the whole car, i eman the whole car. all trim, windows, paint, chrome, and wheels. it took out all the wax stains it had and left the trim looking brand new along with the windows feeling slick and looking clean.

#21 spread good. removal was very easy, but again i used a very thin coat considering i only had a smaple and i didnt only wanna use it on this car.
left a very glossy shiney finish. im happy with it.

how do you dilute your simple green mix? I've heard alot of horror stories about simple green killing the shines on the rim. Did you have any trouble using one?

9:1... i havent had any trouble using simplegreen. ive always had a bottle near by and would use occasionally. i do only use it on clearcoated wheels. anything else i reach for my trusty a2z. i just like simple green because its more convenient to buy a gallon and then dillute it rather than a2z and have to buy bottle after bottle. i dont leave simple green long enough on the wheel to really let it cause any damage. i always spray on the wheel and tire. agitage with a wheel brush quickly. rinse and then clean w/e remains with a wet foam sponge. i did read that if u do get simple green on aluminum that a simple metal polish cleans it right up. since i only deep cleanse my wheels once a month, thats the only time simple green or a2z is used, i always polish the wheels after with aio. not because i think it took anything away from the shine, but more for protection and easier cleaaning with soap and water. thats the only time sg is used, that or on the beginning of a full detail, where like i mentioned, is followed by aio...

CAME OUT CRISP. but the car looks to have been resprayed ( paint booth) you can the the differences

I would try Poorboys Wheel Sealant on those wheels. I applied it to the exact same wheels and it works great...really keeps that BMW brake dust down substantially.

this may sound stupid but, 9:1, 9 being water or 9being simple green?

Car looks great. Don't you hate the brake dust that gets on those wheels? I have a Volvo and it is horrible like the BMW's

tell me about it. i hate brake dust. i drive a mini cooper w/ white wheels. brake dust covers the wheel in about 50 miles of driving.

yes, beemers are a pleasure to work with. the clear isnt that hard so swirl removal doesnt take too long. but at the same time, i notice a lot of bmws in my neighborhood look to have a lot of marring, while when i see audis they dont look to be that swirled. when all is done, ive noticed that bmw paints feel slicker and very soft.
