303 too greasy....need a product tip

I have a set of semi matte black wheels I'm selling.

Prospective buyer is coming this afternoon to look at them.

I want to add a bit of extra sheen to it without it being greasy to touch.



Putting product on wheels and then leaving it alone on a car is one thing.

You don't really notice how tack it is...





I am putting them unmounted....and will be handling it.

Just came to to the wheels after putting some 303 on it about 2 hrs agi. Temps ain't helping either I suppose - low 50's.

I can't think of anything else in my stash that would not bee too greasy but add the shine I want.



Thoughts, suggestions...
 
by wheels, I'm guessing you mean tires, two different things. I'd just apply a protectant then do a wipe down with some mild soap and water.
 
Nope, I'm talking the metal. The tires are nice and black.

Obviously metal won't absorb.....



The wheels are semi matte black.

I'm just trying to add a hint of more sheen to them to make it more *buyer friendly* when they see a wheel they are accustomed to seeing rather than a eggshell 30% black wheel...
 
I'd use ValuGard's Fast Finish. Hands-down the best QD I've ever tried for this specific application.



Also, Blackfire's Gloss Enhancing Polish, topped with most any LSP, usually works very well. Doesn't make things actually glossy, just gives a nice sheen. This is my approach for underhood/undercarriage matte/satin black stuff (which I then maintain with the Fast Finish).
 
Just went to the Valugard.net website, they put the Fast Finish under "speciality chemicals" and looks like Beth got the price dropped for the 22 oz to $5.64 or something like that.

Guess you have to call for the gallon price, didn't see it.

What with the 10% off going on for a while, that's a pretty good deal.

There's a drop box, the gallon is $18.67.
 
I know it's too late for you, OP, but I dilute my 303 1:1 or 1:2 with water and spend less time buffing off the greasyness.

I have it on good authority that some OTHER brand was exactly that, private-labeled.
