30+ hours on a 2011 Jerez Black M3

A friend just got a new M3 for a milestone birthday, had about 6k on it, said it was in good shape. It was in OK shape - sort of what I expected - good shape for a car in general but a little beat up considering how new it is.

Process:

1. Wash / strip wax

2. Clay

3. Wheels removed, clayed, sealed with Wheel Armour

4. Polish with M105

5. Polish with 106fa

6. Rewash, spray down with IPA as I went

7. Glaze with EZ Creme

8. Wax with Petes 53

9. Seal glass with Adam's Glass

10. Exhaust - 0000 steel wool, Optimum metal polish

11. VRP on the tires, CG Black on Black sprayed on mesh front and rear grill

12. 845 on all trim

13. Engine washed with APC, sprayed with CG Black on Black, wiped with VRP

14. Door jams cleaned, wiped with FK425, waxed

15.Interior wipedown, vacuum

16. Leather cleaned, treated with Leather masters vital, then protection creme a couple of hours later

Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. Anyway, on to the pictures.

Yes, that was the B Pillar after polishing:

Good correction after M105, showing some dusting, still needing the clarity and depth from a final polish:

After M105 and 106fa: seriously, this is a reflection shot

Another post-polishing reflection shot:

One more:

CG EZ Creme glaze applied:

CG Petes 53 applied, done:

No imperfections here:

Final results were dripping wet perfection, very slick surface, better than as-delivered from the dealer condition.

Superb result and reflections.

What do you think of CG BOB compared to say 303?

Thanks! I've never used 303, but from what I've read it is a pretty different product than CG BOB. CG BOB is great for spraying down engine, mesh grills, and other things on the exterior, but it is not for the interior. Leaves the surface very black, a bit shiny, and greasy if overapplied, so I only use it for fender wells and other odd areas where applying a standard trim product is not practical. I love it for what I use it for, but I wouldn't extend it to other situations.

Great work man. Really nice deep gloss on that bad boy. I havent really liked the CG LSP products as much as others. Nice to see they worked out nice on this.
