This is the most details I've ever done in a single day, but I guess it helps that they were simple wash n wax jobs. All 3 were well taken care of and had no swirls so all I did was protect them.

For all 3 the process was:

Wash: CG ONE

QD: Zymol Detailer

Wax: S100

see below for the pics

Yes, i'm bored:nana:

and no I didn't really use CG ONE to wash the cars:chuckle:

nice job the detail must have taken what? about 45 minutes +/- 15 minutes. So are those plastic or die cast models?? And I like the vertical blind back ground -- good macro photography.

I did the very same thng a few weeks ago (2- '70 Chevelle SS Hard top & convertable, 2-'65 GTOs Hard top & convertable and a '67 GTX)

:waxing:

Are you sure that the CG one did not induce swirls and then hide them?

The way this weather has been all month, I might have to branch out to detailing minatures.
That's not good. Do you do detailing for a living?

Yeah, I think it was closer to 30 minutes. The models are die cast, but I do have plastic one's too, another one of my hobbies. No macro photog here, just playing with the focus and distance of my point and shoot is all it was, but thanks anyway.

:goodjob , they look awesome, might had to ask if my daughter let me do her cars too.
The Range Rover doesn't have much clear on it, if any, so it's not too impressive to me. It was a waste of product to put anything on it, but the other one's did come out nice.

you should wetsand them. they have a fair amount of orange peel.
True story. Maybe one day I'll bust out the sanding paper I use on my plastic models and have at it.
