#26 straight over Gold Class?

So, this week I fancy trying topping Gold Class liquid with #26, just to see what happens:nixweiss

Q is, do I need to let the GC 'set up' for 24 hours before applying the #26 or can I go straight ahead and top it?
 
I've been contemplating this ever since my Meg's dealer suggested it. He said GC makes a great fine swirl filler, and it does give a fantastic (if somewhat deep/darkening) shine.

I can see no ill effects- please try and post the results!

I would leave the GC 24 hrs before topping, IMO.
