Some pretty lofty claims - 500% increase in scratch resistance.

22ple Finitura will allow you to quickly apply a durable layer of protection that really makes the paint pop! After 3 years of development, 22ple released Finitura, which is a unique top coating that can also be used as a stand-alone protection product. As a stand-alone product, Finitura will provide a deep, wet, glossy, sleek finish, that repels moisture with ease. If you already protected your car with a coating Finitura can be applied directly on top of it and it really enhances that protection. You will not only see the same increased gloss, hydrophobic and protective properties but according to 22ple, Finitura will improve scratch resistance on glass coatings by over 500%. If you keep getting watermarks this is an absolute must have product as it will repel them incredibly well! The application is super easy so you get great results in very little time.

Looks like they also released an Essence-like product called Activate.

I placed my order yesterday. I’m a huge fan of the hpc. I’m wondering if this will knock reload, C2v3 and vs-1 out
Like the products, aside from 12-24 hrs between layers of their coatings, great stuff. Company kinda an enigma though...no website, occasional Facebook posts but mostly in the shadows, for non pros anyway.

Finitura in Kami Overcoat league price wise so it needs to be something special. 500% scratch resistance is a pretty impressive claim.

I can`t find anything on durability or application instructions. Budget, do you know the Gyeon rep? Can you ask him? I wonder if it is like Can Coat.
I really like their VS1 Final Coat. It`s my Kami OverCoat for `poor guys`.

I know. I can’t find anything at all. I also know when I used hpc multiple times my applicator didn’t get stiff. But when I used the vxpro2 it did. 🤷🏽`♂️. But I can say that the hpc performed as it did the day I put it on a little over a year later. I read it was rebranded gtechniq. Maybe there just a small company that doesn’t spend money on marketing. Idk. But I can’t wait to try out this finitura. We’ll see

I dunno about rebranding...I tried a boatload of different coatings last year and nothing applied like the HPC, it`s definitely different. Performs incredibly as far as self cleaning goes, nicely high gloss as well. According to the docs I could find, it`s a high-solids coating with fluorine in it which contributes to great hydrophobic behavior (like Gyeon Booster whihc is a flourine based topcoat...and i see Carpro just released BLISS which is probably a Gyeon Booster like product).

Either way, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Finitura...

I exchanged emails with the owner of 22 PLE. He was adamant that they do 100% of their own testing and manufacturing. He said it as a selling point, not because I asked about it. He said in Aug they would have a web site "in a few weeks". When I asked again about the website 8 weeks later he did not respond back.

Only time I ever contacted them was thru a message on their Facebook page, sometime around 4am EST and got an immediate response *that* time.

They do have an Autopia account; they posted in one of my coating threads once.

I have a graphite grey colored car so streaks and things of that nature are hard to see. The true test will be on my wife’s black 328. The only 2 silica spray sealants I tried has streaked except for pa high gloss. Reload, and c2v3. I never tried final coat on it. Hopefully I’ll get some time to try it out this weekend. Should be her Saturday afternoon. I’m not a good reviewer but I’ll try my best

Every SiO2 booster I`ve ever tried (Overcoat, c2v3, final coat, cure) streaked every now and again. I`ve sprayed on panel and buffed, sprayed on microfiber applicator, applied and buffed and sprayed into towel and buffed, which gave me the best results but still a streak usually. I know many cut Cure 50/50 wirh distilled water with good results. 2 outta 3 of our cars are black.

Now I just spritz a little overcoat in my platinum Pluffle while drying and rarely get a streak...and it makes drying so much easier.

I receive ldnthe finitura today and have it a try on a panel of a black Tahoe. It didn’t come with instructions or a sprayer. It’s ok a bottle with a top that similar to the Elmer’s glue top. It’s a twist top. I applied it with a microfiber and wiped right off. But I had streaks galore. Tomorrow I’m gonna let it sit for a couple minutes before I wipe it off to see if that helps. It produced a great shine and was super slick. But the streaks have me bummed out. I will say it looks like reload but with no smell. And a thin consistency

I broke down and ordered today as well. Did you message DI regarding application?

Edit: just sent/recd below from 22ple via facebook...that was quick! Thinking it might be best applied like a coating or with microfiber applicator.

Yes I messaged the vendor and at first he said it’s a spray in wipe off topper. Then I informed him it’s a twist top without a sprayer. Then he said to apply it and play around with dwell times. I didn’t have time as I was doing a wash and wax for a customer. But I believe you definitely have to give it a couple minutes before you try to wipe it off. I even went back to try to buff it off about 3 minutes later and it wouldn’t budge. I’ll do a quick section on my wife’s car tomorrow and take some pics and report back. I also feel like even though it’s only 250ml it’s gonna last a long time

Umm...wow. Well, sticking to the 22ple Modus operandi...little bit vague, little bit odd. Maybe that`s what makes their products quirky, yet mysteriously excellent, with personalities all their own. I think I`ll likely give it a shot applying like a coating.

Budget, will you do a review?
Will do. Hopefully works out better than my TAC Moonlight escapade.

I will say I have been using their coatings for a few years now, and I am a full on believer. I have not yet tested finitura fully. I picked one up a while back but not sure if they changed the formula since then. It was like applying a coating in terms of difficulty. At this time not many people have used or tried it. So i set it aside until someone could figure out application method.

But there newest coating Mistico Elemento Forte... It is on another level. I have used and tested many coating, like most people here. Having a detailing business gives me the chance to see how coatings actually work. From application, to maintenance and longevity. Even a few cases where people go to car washes and get nailed by sprinklers! As much as I would love to keep a good secret, I also feel like telling everyone because of how good it is. Ease of use for anyone. Ive done testing where Ive left it on a panel for 15 mins, then 45 mins. And it wiped off with no issue what so ever. the hydrophobic properties actually last without a topper for the life of the coating, as long as regular washing is done. For a professional its great because some clients don`t actually maintain their coatings, and secondly for the end user if you miss topping it, you have no reason to worry.

22ple is def one of those hidden gems, that do not promote (but should), and have great products. I`ve also talked to Shyan who has spoken to me in length about coatings and the chemistry (i am sure to an extent) behind their products. Other companies just have a rep saying yeah its the best and give you nothing else.

#EndRant lol

happy detailing

Well, as typical with 22ple, bizarrely easy application, slick as snot and pretty glossy considering the uncorrected paint it was used on.

Just a quick impression, just arrived at work in mail.

Took one of the vans sitting in warehouse, PB Spray & Wiped hood, PB Spray & Wipe w/ Nanoskin Fine clay mitt, panel prep with Gtechniq panel wipe.

Van is a 2006 E250 w/ 161K miles on it. Last January I had compounded/polished the hood and waxed with Collinite 915. About 20k hard miles this pool season since it was compounded and waxed.

Couldn`t do any real work on hood as half the power to our building is down after the storm so no power for compounding/polishing but gave Finitura a try anyway.

Temperature is about 60 degrees, used Gyeon applicator block with microsuede applicator cloth.

Mfg Application Guidance:

1. If coating layer was applied beforehand, allow this layer to cure for 6 - 8 hours.
2. After coating has cured, apply Finitura nice and thin.
3. Waiting time is flexible and can be anywhere between 1 - 20 minutes
4. Product should wipe off clean and easy.
5. If you have any trouble with removal, just wipe off with a slightly damp, not soaking wet, microfiber towel.

A typical line or 2 down the applicator covered about 25% of the hood, up and down, then back and forth. Finitura hazed almost immediately and is a very, very thin product in terms of consistency. Very easy to tell where it`s been applied although I likely over applied as that is generally `what I do` despite my best efforts to do otherwise. Towards end of each section, when more product likely needed to be applied to applicator the applied sections got somewhat sticky when going back over them. Once the whole panel was done, though, it was strangely easy to go back over the whole hood one more time with up/down, side to side motions to even it all out. A little does indeed go a long way and I suspect the bottle will last quite a long time.

Buffed off using Autopia Carbon Black Edgeless Microfiber Polishing Cloth followed by final buff with Rag Company Creature Edgeless. Buffed the first 1/3 of the hood at 7 minutes, the second 1/3 at 15 minutes and the final 1/3 right at 20 minutes. All came off easily with no streaks, leaving a slick and glossy finish, especially considering the underlying surfaces lack of compound/polish. It was a little stickier at the 20 minute mark, and likely 10-15 minutes woulda been the sweet spot at 60 degrees and the 73% humidity the Weather Channel says it is right now. In any event, a very forgiving product at this temperature and humidity. Initial impressions are that it`s pretty neat stuff, albeit somewhat pricey, but easy to use, nice results. Will have to watch longevity and in a few weeks, I`ll run a soft cotton towel across a section of the hood to see if it marks it, if that doesn`t affect it I`ll try a little less soft towel and see what happens. They claim 500% increase in scratch resistance so we`ll see.

We do have a vehicle here I did with 22ple HPC last April, it`s holding up quite nicely and when I get a chance I`ll top a section of that hood (maybe after Sonax Fallout remover application) and see what that brings.

Some pics:

Half the hood buffed, can see the hazing on unbuffed half:

That’s a great review. I think that’s the way to go. Apply it like a coating. I did a silver car this weekend with it but wiped it off after about 2 minutes. I’m gonna try again this weekend and let it sit about 5 minutes. I can’t wait to see some beading shots.
