This one was completed over the Christmas break by prior reservation after the client took delivery of this new 2021 color.
Christmas eve I washed and decontaminated. Christmas day I polished and coated it. Day after Christmas I finished off odd ends and took photos.
Standard wash and decon
I used Poorboys SS&S and Iron Remover
Claybar was nanoskin red sponge, Poorboys clay lube
Polished with a combination of duetto, lhr21 mk2, mini and nano. All either yellow rupes pads (older ones) or hdo orange.
I had to use a urofiber pad with the last cut to rid the back hatch of the only real panel that had dealership washing signs as this vehicle was just delivered about 2 weeks ago and appeared (emphasis on appeared) to have never been washed until I got to it. The silver painted trim was also funky but it polished out well.
Aside from prior mentions:
pa final polish on paint and piano black trim
Beasleys z1 on glass and silver painted trim, later topped with sps graphene
Paint: Gtech panel wipe + sps graphene
Wheels: sps metal oxide
Tires: mckees si02 tire
Trim (pretty much all on the rear bumper assembly and one patch by the wipers) sps graphene
Exhaust tips hand polished with 0000 steel wool and then beasleys z1 on samclub micro, later topped with sps graphene
I`m probably forgetting something.
It`s been a long week and I have another one tomorrow so here are some pictures of this one...
That front end means business! And quad exhaust from the factory on a bus? Well played GMC.
Thanks for viewing.
