Like the E46 3 series, the coupe has been carried over a year into the new model like production, so yes, this is a 2013 E92. The owner contacted me a couple weeks ago about a detail. He wasn't necessarily looking for a full on correction, just a good basic detail and paint protection. Overall the car was in decent shape, as typical of BMWs, there were a few ares with light holograms, most likely put in the car on the assembly line. The back of the trunk lid and bumper had also been repainted, a ladder fell on the back end when it was in the tuning shop so there were holograms around the license plate area and the rear bumper. Also removed the 335is badging from the back end.
Didn't get any before shots, forget to get new batteries from my digital camera so what I took I used my cell phone camera. The holograms weren't bad anyway, took literally seconds with M100 to remove them.
ONR wash, Opti-Raser mild to clay
Meguiars M100 using an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA polisher to spot polish (holograms and back end)
3D HD Polish using an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA whole car
Optimum Opti-Seal
Optimum Metal Polish on the exhaust tips
Armor All on tires/wheel wells
