I've been trying to get to it for several weeks and I just couldn't find the time to spare. But, today I just started on it early and the wife let me just have the day to myself and my Suby. It took me ~6 hours.

Process-
1 Bucket for the wheels/tires/wheel wells.
2 buckets w/ grit guards for the paint

After the wash, dried with Microfiber and moved into the garage.
Meguiar's clay w/ONR (Optimum No Rinse) the entire vehicle...wiped clean
Optimum PolySeal the hood (until the backing plate fell apart on the Porter Cable)
Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 the entire car.
Wipe down with Meguiar's Ultimate Detailer
Headlights got Plastix polish and a coating of Optiseal
Vacuumed the inside (beach sand from yesterday....ugh)
Wiped all door sills
Rims wiped down inside and out and tires got Megs Ultimate Tire Shine

Glad I got to finish this....it's been on my to-do list for a while.

Here are some pics...

And then with the Bra back on due to Love Bug Season still here...

Cheers,
Mike

Hey thanks! I am not actually new. I had always logged on as ShelpdoggSVT and then I couldn't. So I just added a new Profile. Lazy I guess.

What did you use on the wheels? Nice and clean

Thanks!...When I first got it about 9 months ago I put Klasse AIO on them, but now I just do a spray with Simple Green/Water Solution, then two separate brushes to be sure I get the backs/lug area, and then wipe them down with a microfiber.

I probably should seal them more often, but it seems to be holding up well.
