Just finished a brand new video. Wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel just a simple video outlining some of the key points of a detail in hopes to help customers understand what high level detailing is all about. Check it out would love to hear what you guys think...

Regards,

Dave

very moving/powerful. One of my favorite cars too. The only thing missing was a shot of the swirls and and after they were polished out-perhaps thats hard for a video camera to capture on a white car though...

Completely Disagree. David has nothing to prove.

Dave this video was incredible! Perfect in every aspect for the consumer to see the end result. Short simple and to the point. Outstanding.

"just a simple video" ........ yeah right! That was excellent! Great work. I hope this does well for you. I just had it added to our home page so it can get more exposure. I hope you don't mind?

Awesome video... Notes taken, lol.

Looks good. Would have been even more powerful on a black Mercedes, but awesome job either way. Thanks for posting!

WOW ! Major league home run. Would be proud to have something like that on a site for myself. Looks very professional. Thats something that IMO customers can relate to.

It has nothing to do with proving anything. Where did you get that? The poster never even hinted at proving something.

It would have had more impact showing before and after or 50/50 shots after correcting swirls and would better demonstrate the result of a proper machine polish to the customer.

This is very, very cool. I have been experimenting with videos (see youtube below), but it's total amateur hour at this point. Would love to know what the vids were shot with/pp as well.

Man... if we all had standards like this. "Simple video" indeed ;)

Looks very nice and gives a glimpse of what real high-end detailing is all about. Very nice teaser to show clients as it'll blow their mind to see all the small things they've never seen done / never thought of.

And extended version with a black swirled car could end up astonishing with the extra 50/50's and before and afters it'd provide. I look forward to seeing more great things from Street Dreams Detail in the near future.

I disagree with that. From a consumer standpoint and what David said, "understand high level detailing", there were no 50/50 or before/after shots. As a customer, all I saw was a nice car being turned into a nice car. I don't think David has anything to prove to anyone on here, but as he said, this is for his customers.

David,

Great job, loved that video. I have literally been waiting for you to do something like that. I would only add what others have said with 50/50's, before/afters and no wax shots?, lol.

The video is on my website, thats why I made it. Its an introduction to what I do and meant to spark interest, nothing more. Granted mystic white #2 on that SL is a heavy ivory metallic white, even when swirled its quite hard to show up defects on camera let alone video.

Once people visit my website they can go to the paint correction page and there are 50/50s, explanations, sun shots of correction and 50/50s and another polishing video... should explain the process well enough for them to comprehend.
