New client sent by another Audi owner we did, looking for help. As you will see the different body shops did the same quality of work! The difficult part was dialing in the different types of clear , shop 1 did the hood and it was extremely scratch sensitive! I don’t think there was any hardener in the clear! After cutting the hood with Griot’s fast correction cream on a microfiber pad,it was pretty hazed. Polished with Griot’s perfecting cream on a yellow perfecting pad which took out the haze but didn’t give the clarity we were looking for. This was done with the 15. Refining done with Griot’s GG6 and a black finishing pad using perfecting cream. Shop 2 must have been in a hurry because I think all they used on the driver side was hardener! Multiple cutting steps with Griot’s fast correction cream on a microfiber pad followed by perfecting cream on a yellow perfecting pad. Refined with perfecting cream on a black finishing pad using the 15 for all steps. And finally the factory clear only needed cutting with Griot’s fast correction cream on a microfiber pad followed by perfecting cream on a yellow perfecting pad.Finished with Modesta Primer on a black finishing pad. Coated with Modesta BC08. Final wipe with Modesta M1. Wheels to be refurbished so cleaned with Griot’s iron and fallout remover, tires with Griot’s black satin. Just a ton of work! But client very happy! And that’s what matters! Thank you for looking!
