Posting from my phone so hope this goes well.

Recently did my friends Corvette that needed some correction. Was not in bad shape since it was done last year with M100/105/205. I knew the color was capable of more with the right products.

Exterior only;
```eon Iron Wash
Nanoskin 5inch Disc
Griot`s FCC + Meguiars MF
Sonax Perfect Finish +LC Orange pad
PB BlackHole
Jescar PowerLock
No before shots but here she is:
Car came out really nice. Had some holograms from the PowerLock but we resolved that issue.
Looks great, nice work. I like the black rotor hats. My biggest pet peeve, rusty rotors/calipers. Do you always have an audience watching over your polishing jobs?:)
<< Owns two cars with rust on rotors. Constantly annoyed:)
oh man you must hate looking at my SRT then, lol
to the OP, looks great!
Thanks guys. As for the audience.....ALWAYS!!! HAHA...
We painted the hats and calipers (body color) on it. I will get some full shots later and add them.
No way do you have rust on the rotor hats or your calipers?
Unless you thought I was referring to rotor faces. In that case that rust is short lived. Not as bothersome to me.
I made the mistake of not spending $50 more per rotor to get the OEM Toyota rotors. Instead got the Chinese rotor that rust the second they leave the box:(
OP, what type of paint did you use on the rotors and calipers? Looks very well done.
they sure look a little golden but probably not rust I guess
they look like they`ve been worked out for 81k+ miles actually, lol (stock rotors on my SRT)
Hi Temp engine paint was used on the rotors. For the calipers we had a paint shop make the color and then bought 2-part automotive clearcoat. Sprayed about 6 coats or so and so far they have neesed nothing more than soap wash.
OP- did you use anything different on the painted part inside the car between the seats?
and at the end of your OP, the holograms from the Power Lock.... just needed an extra buff or what?
Actually just polished lightly using the same stuff. BUT....pocking up a Rupes 15mkII, 3 inch Mini, and a Nano longneck prob within the next week hopefully. So that area will be perfect for the Nano.
It was my first time playing with PowerLock actually. Believe it was on a bit too thick. Gave it a wipe down and 2nd wash which got rid of the majority of it. Have since done another C5 but put on very thin and had zero issues. And with 2 coats that car is slick and super shiny.
Nice work! Looks as good as it did 13-20 years ago when it left the factory. Probably glossier:)
Is that yours?
This one is not mine. It`s my adopted brother`s car. My best friend has the red one plus another C5 and this is his brother`s car.
