2009 Nissan GTR

2009 Nissan GTR, main issue was over spray. Luckily he called me quickly about it and I had a half day open a few days later so it wasn't on the car very long. And for a 3 year old, it was pretty much swirl free save for a section of the hood. Being metallic white and the over spray also being white, no point in before shots, wouldn't have shown anything.

The owner and I discussed Opti-Coat but he isn't sure if he is going to do a flat white vinyl wrap or not so we decided this time to go with Opti-Seal instead. If he decides not to wrap the car, then odds are I'll be coating it late this fall.

ONR wash

Clay Magic Blue to remove over spray using ONR (wash dilution) as lube

3D HD Polish (Nissan metallic white/pearl has a been a problem in the past with sticky clear and HD Polish I know for sure will wipe off) using an Optimum MF polishing pad and my Rupes 21 DA-combo was effective on the small area of swirls in the hood

Optimum Opti-Seal

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

I've seen the HD polish/Opt MF pad quite a bit, how do you like it is it comparable to Opt Hyper polish, Menz SF4000 or does it have more cut? I just got HD polish in through their review event going on.

Thanks, GTR looks great! Especially nice job since they're known for difficult paint to work with.

It has a little less cut than OHP but on softer paints it finishes better. No idea on Menzerna polishes, haven't used any in years.
