2009 BMW 1 Series DETAILED

A few months ago I worked on a 2009 BMW 1 Series and I have to say that this car is AMAZING! The owner just had the suspension and the wheels installed.

This detail did not entail a full paint correction. This car is a month old and upon inspection it didn't look too bad. There were very light swirls and light scratches. Here is my process:



- Wash with NXT Car wash

- Test spot with #80 and W-8006. The result turned out a bit more hazy than the untested half . I decided to give M105 a try on the G110 and that turned out better.

- M66 on W-8006

- NXT 2.0

Test spot using M105 (105 on the right side)

After making 1 pass with M105 I followed with M66. The test spot is on the right side which made the paint a slight deeper

After making 1 pass with M66 I followed up with NXT 2.0 which made the paint even deeper. The test spot is on the right side

This is the 135i. The owner took me for a drive and this thing handles beautifully and has the power to go with it.

if i could see the brakes i could tell you if it was a 135 :heelclick

1 series regardless of 135 or 128 have single twin tip mufflers... 3 series has dual single tip mufflers on 335 rather than single twin tip on the 328
 
M105 on flat black BMW paint seems a little much but from the final result and direct sun shot it seems you know what your doing and did a fine job of it. Awesome work!

I can't remember if I took any close ups of the wheels. I really hope I did and I'll post them up hopefully showing the calipers/brakes.

I tried #80 but it seemed to haze the paint compared to the #105 so I decided to go with that.
