2008 Z06 - Jetstream Blue Metallic

I had the pleasure of working on this beautiful Z06 yesterday, only 450 miles on the clock :). The usual new car prep woes from the dealership posed this gorgeous colour with some minor marring. The car was extremely clean and the clay picked up nearly nothing. I spent my time on polishing the paint to 99.9%+. Total time was about 4.5 hrs.

-Z7 Wash

-Z18 Clay

-TOL Tire Cleaner for tires/wells

-Z-PC via PC and LC CCS White Polishing Pad @ 6 (mixed in some M105 for deeper marring)

-Z6 Wipedown

-Z5 Pro (ZFX'd) on paint, windows, and wheels

-Z8 final wipedown

-Z16 on tires

-CG VRP cut 2:1 in wells

Cheers.

Fantastic work as always.

On a side note, I love your Click n' Brag format. Short and sweet. No needing to scroll through a ton of pics to get the full process. Keep it up. :up

Hi all.

The Z is mine. Just want to say what a great job Sean did. Car has a nice, deep shine, and nearly flawless finish. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Takes pretty good pics as well!:bigups

Nice work as always Sean!!:xyxthumbs

I guess I'll be seeing this on the roads here in lower Fairfield.. Like Merrit, Rt7 etc!!:woot2:

Nice clolor on this car. Didn't see hardly any orange peel. Must be the solid colors they have the most peel on.

Drive her in good health. With the price of gas, and only 450 miles on the clock, go easy on the vertical pedal. That's if you can!;)

You should also look into clear paint film.

Good looking Vette. btw, I hate how some wheel cleaners accelerate rust like that, first time you step on the pedel, WHAM! You have orange stuff all over your rims! Arg!
