I showed up at the client location at 7am. Both cars to be done in one day. Exterior only on both.

The 08 sedan has about 9k miles. Mostly wash induced marring. Sorry no before pics. Clear bra on the entire front and approx 30% of hood and fenders. The Garnet Ember is a lovely shade of red w/ some nice flake.

Process:

Wash with Z7 using 2BM and sheepskin mitt.

Clay with Zaino Clay and 50/50 of Z6 and distilled water.

Wheels via P21s gel and various brushes.

Tires/wells w/ AM 777 APC.

Presta 1500/Green wool/Flex 3403 @ 1600.

ZPC/PC6/White CCS

2x of ZFX'd Z5pro

Z8

Tires got Z-16.

Notes:

Total time was approx 5 hours.

Claying picked up a decent amount of bonded contaminants on the rear of the car.

I attempted to use ZPC via PC6/green CCS but it was taking 2-3 passes to get the defects out.

The 2006 coupe in lazer red had approx 50k miles. The paint was dull in appearance due to the swirls.

Process:

Wash with Z7 using 2BM and sheepskin mitt.

Clay with Zaino Clay and 50/50 of Z6 and distilled water.

Wheels via P21s gel and various brushes.

Tires/wells w/ AM 777 APC.

2-3x Presta 1500/Green wool/Flex 3403 @ 1600-1700.

ZPC/PC6/White CCS

2x of ZFX'd Z5pro

Z8

Tires got Z-16.

Notes:

Total time was 7 hours.

Claying took about double the time on this coupe then the larger sedan. On the rear of the car, I had to flip or kneed the clay bar 3 times.

Presta 1500/green wool-on the first pass 70% of the defects where removed. Most of the painted surfaces took another pass, deeper defects took 3 passes.

Wow Bryan, two cars in one day!! You must have been beyond beat at the end of the day!

Both cars look absolutely amazing and the pictures look phenominal!! :wow:

Looking forward to seeing some more details by you!

Top-notch work! :bow:bow

beautiful job on both! i bet those stick out even more in the neighborhood now that you did your magic on them... :2thumbs:

ZPC/PC6/White CCS

does this mean you used ZPC with a PC set at speed 6 and a white CCS pad?

sorry but its monday morning and i'm not thinking too clearly.

hahah where are all the naysayers who dont think you can get a 2 step done in 8 hours now...lol, let a lone two...

I have done the same thing...two full exterior details in one day both audi's, not 100%, but about 95% - one white and one silver = LOOOOONG tiring day

Amazing work Bryan, especially two in one day!

I love those colors.

Thanks Ryan! The flake on the sedan is stunning.

Great work Bryan! I'm not sure if I can do two paint corrections in one day, LoL.

Thanks Denzil! I was there for 12.5 hours. Maybe 45 mins tops of eating and resting.

That is correct. When I know I don't have the time to wash after polishing so that zaino will bond to the paint, I just use ZPC. It leaves a nice finish.

Awesome job Bryan. :wow:

I don't know if I could do 2 corrections in one day. I would be wiped...

Thanks Pat! Not worrying about the interiors saves a lot of time, especially on two cars.

This paint is a bit softer then those Audi's I bet.

Wow, both those cars are absolutely glowing. Very nice depth and wetness.

Great work as usual.

Josh

Thanks Josh!

Sweet work as always Bryan! :woot:

Did you find the spoiler on the coupe hard to correct? I have some spots on mine and I tried a while back to take them out but didn't succeed. Did you use the same process on it?

BTW, I think that the coupe is an 05 model not 06. The 06 has the "smaller" spoiler and projector headlights without the clearance strip. Not that it makes a difference I just hope the owner knows it's an 05 ;)

Thanks Twitch! I found the spoiler to be the same as the rest of the paint. 90% of the defects cleaned up with 2 passes of P1500/green wool. I think he told me it was an 06, I'll bet you are right.
