It is a diesel, he must have the wrong gearing then!



It was a lot more ground then I thought, next time I'll have to charge more! I had at least 10-11 hours into it.

Diesel pickups get alot better than 10mpg, even with big tires. Hell mine gets 25mpg but its not fair to compare an older Cummins to current emissions control choked down egnines. dmax, powerstroke, and the 6.7 cummins all get about 18mpg.



and the beuty about a diesel is your mpg pretty much stays the same wether you are towing 15,000lbs or if the truck is empty.
