Tom, the owner, found me through this site but contacted me through autogeek because I rarely post over here.

This vehicle must have been clayed no more than a month ago or so. The paint was EXTREMELY clean and free of debris.

Process:

Prep:

Washed via TBM Meguiar's Gold Class and Cobra Bone

Wheels/ wheel wells done with APC, various brushes and a wheel dedicated mitt

Clayed with Meguiar's Mild Clay and water

Polisher/Pads:

Porter Cable 7428 Rotary

3M Superbuff III Wool pad

4" LC Purple Foamed Wool pad

LC Kompressor White pad

LC CCS Blue pad

LC Spot Buff CCS White pad

Polishes:

Meguiar's M105

Meguiar's M205

3M Ultrafina

Protection:

Collinite 845

LSP:

Before pictures do no justice. The car was extremely clean, but still had swirls and a few hack detailers' tracks.

My MF was linting. Must've been something else in the washer left from other clothes prior.

Fixing the hack artists mistakes.

Can't fix this one. It's a burnt edge. Sorry for being out of focus. Again, this is the hacks doings, no mine. Tom knew about them prior to me getting to it.

Nice work restoring the gloss to that ride. The color is stunning! Prepwork (taping, masking) looks great, too.

I have never seen a car's color so full of life, so vivid and striking and exotic! I wish all cars were that color!

Owner needs to be punished for choosing that shameful color, and the creator of that color needs the same. :p

LOL Silver looks good when done right, but to each his own right? I love black car and some dark blue's personally.

While I think Lambo silver in general is always a bit "dry" looking, I like the way it looks on that car. IMO silver suits the look of the spyder better than the typical wild looking Lambo colors.

Nice work; the vents on the engine cover look like a pain to polish.

Where was this car? I'm from Dothan Alabama and that neighborhood looks familiar. I see the owners and Auburn Alum too, war eagle. Nice work btw

It was actually pretty nice the entire weekend I worked on these vehicles. High's of around 65, lows around 40. The previous weeks before we had highs of 40 and rain/snow.

nice looking car not crazy about the color.

Not all Lambo's have to be a loud color. Detailing his Range Rover and then this made me like silver, but not enough for me to buy the color on one of my vehicles. Too much of a pain to find the defects even with good lighting.

Sounds to me like the perfect color then. ;)
