This is my first Click & Brag! I hope the photos work.

Woke up this morning, had some coffee, checked the weather, and decided to do a little exterior detailing on my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel. This vehicle is outside 24/7, so I try to wax it often. It was polished about nine weeks ago, so I chose to just wash it and follow up with my usual Klasse and Collinite routine.

Wash

Griot's Garage Car Wash

Griot's sheepskin mitt

Pinnacle bug sponge

Tires/Wheels/Wheel wells

Meguiar's APC+ diluted 4:1

Bristle brush

Meguiar's Hyper Dressing diluted 2:1

Sealant/Wax

Klasse All In One, applied with PC and 4" white CCS pad

Collinite 845 Insulator Wax, applied with PC and 4" blue CCS pad

Pics taken with Nikon D60 w/ 18-55 VR lens

Sorry, no before pics. It was a little dirty, but this is no dramatic before and after. After a thorough wash, I dried with a microfiber. I applied KAIO to all paint, trim, glass, and chrome. KAIO is awesome stuff, except for its durability. A Collinite IW topper finished everything off. I also applied Hyper Dressing to the black plastic mirrors, door handles, cowl, etc. Enjoy!

Looks great. Can I bring you mine? It's a dually, and it's HARD to keep nice. Daily driver, and like yours, outside 24/7.

Nice truck. I noticed your photos are grainy. Your ISO setting is 1600.....way too high for afternoon pictures. It seems it was on an automatic mode of some sort.

Thanks, I was thinking the pics were not good. I only got the camera a couple months ago and I'm still trying to figure it out.

How long did this take you?

I did a Hemi 1500 Crew Cab the other day by hand (power was off and on all day thanks to poles being moved), and took me 12 hours with wash, clay, KAIO, Wolfgang DGPS. And doing the interior...

Very nice truck! I have a 2500 Cummins as well and it's annoying how big it is when you want to keep it clean the whole time. Hence, I am always doing my wife's Explorer first!

It took about three hours. I skipped the clay, since the bug sponge left it feeling so smooth. I totally skipped the interior except for shaking the dirt off the driver's floor mat.
