having some good weather here in California, so I decided to upack the ol' P/C 7336 I've had in storage here at my parent's house while I was in the Army.

2007 Mustang GT. This one belongs to my brother who is still in the Army, stationed in Germany til he gets out in October. It's pretty much garaged kept, but me or my parents try to take it out every now and then to stretch it's legs. We had it last saturday durng the rain, so she needed to be shined up.

Meguiar's Deep Crystal Polish (P/C applied)

Before's (can't really tell, but she's filthy)

2000 Mustang GT. The faster one, this one is mine. I just washed her a few days ago, cleaning off 4 states worth of road grime and filth (drove Texas to California afer my discharge). She's pretty swirled up from years of abuse, so I wanted to take a crack at them with my P/C, but my el cheapo Griot's Garage pads weren't up to snuff. I think it's Lake Country time.

enjoy!

Sweet rides. The reason for the lack of correction might be the polish you used rather than the pads. That deep crystal Meg's isn't much of a polish.

I love the wingless look on the 99-04 GT's. I was detailing one last weekend that we pulled the wing off so I could polish. We all had a hard time putting it back on, but the car will be for sale soon anyway.

The 07 looks great as well. I'm a fan of the present body style.

Both look very nice.

The '00 is faster because it's HIS. One can never admit to having a slower car than another family member :)

So YOUR FAMILY is the reason why Ford's doors are still open! LOL

Well, yours and mine too. My parents are Lincoln fanatics. And I LOVE S197 Mustangs too.

Good detail work!

thanks for the replies everyone!

what makes her faster than the 07??

Cams, pullies, full exhaust, rebuilt rear with steeper gears, almost the entire Maximum Motorsports catalog thrown at it and my bodystyle weighs in lighter :D

I was jus tthinking last night after I signed off. I'll probably order something better along with my Lake Country pads this weekend.

the fat tires and the deep dish rims help out with the wingless look. I'm going to opt for a '00 R hood up front along with the Mach 1 chin splitter to round out the body mods.

There's also a '02 Ranger that my dad uses as a work truck. Sadly, my mom went Chrysler and got a Magnum, while my sister went with VW and has a Jetta. But her Jetta is on the last leg and I think a new Focus is in the future for her

Thanks for serving. We couldnt say thank you enough for everything you, your brother and all who server in the armed forces provide for the rest of us.
