Just picked up my new 328 last Friday. I braved the cold and wind on Sunday to get it washed and detailed...not too hard a proposition on a brand new car. This was my first detail using the knowledge I've gained here. I should have clayed, but I just didn't have time to this time around, and the car really didn't really feel like it needed it.
Product used:
Jeffs Werkstatt Auto Wash - terrific amounts of suds. Rinsed off very well.
Jeffs Werkstatt Prime - Very easy to apply by foam applicator. I buffed it out using Acrylic Jett, saving me a buffing step.
Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic Jett - Very easy to apply; very easy to buff out.
Poorboy's Wheel Sealant - Very easy to apply and easy to buff out.
Now for a couple of photos.
Any suggestions for a tire dressing? I don't want one that's going to sling all over everything, nor do I want one that looks too slick. I prefer a less shiny look to my tires. Right now, they have nothing on them, but I would like to use something to dress them up a bit.
And thanks to everyone for being so nice to us newbies.
