Had the pleasure of working on this Arctic Silver '06 Cayman S yesterday. A 12,000 mile car that has been very well maintained, but had just returned from a long road trip and was just generally due for the attention that it deserves. Why can't all cars be this nice to work on?
Process:
All 4 wheels pulled and cleaned with Brown Royal
Wheel wells cleaned with HD Citrus APC at 4:1
Tires and wheel wells dressed with Meg's Hyper Dressing at 3:1
The car was then washed and clayed in preparation for polishing.
Meg's D-300 with a MF cutting pad, followed an IPA wipe down.
Next was D-301 with the MF finishing pad and then topped with HD Poxy. I use Poxy on my own Arctic Silver Porsche and really like the look on silver. Four Star Leather conditioner was used on the seats, etc. and Duragloss dressing on the plastic surfaces. Poxy was also used on the wheels.
Thanks for looking!
