This is a 2006 911 Carrera S that belongs to a friend of mine. It has about 9,xxx miles on it. He is a busy man and barely has time to wash the car. I first washed and waxed the car last November and since then he has washed it maybe 2-3 times. The car had some minor swirls, not much would show on camera at least so no before pics. It was cloudy all damn day I was working on the car with maybe 5 minutes of sunlight peaking out…enough for me to move the car into the sun to check my work.

Process:

Wash and Clay

Menz 106FF polish pad @ 1500rpms

Menz 106FF finesse pad @ 1500-1200rpms

Clear Bra Polished with only Menz 106FF finesse pad @ 1500-1200rpms

Plexus On Clear Bra

Zymol Ital (Non-metallic red is where Ital really excels!!)

Flitz polished the Exhaust tips.

Windows cleaned with SprayAway

Leather Cleaned with Lexol Cleaner and treated with Zaino Z10

Vacuumed and everything wiped down.

Engine Bay Wipedown

Tire Shine = Z16

Like I said, no befores and practically no sunlight lol

Forgot to mention that I used the new CCS White Pad (polishing pad) for the first time. General opinion...I like it. It seem to had a tad bit more cut then the regular LC Pad. I also have the Orange and Green CCS pad which I will probably try out tomorrow.

Beautiful job but you already know that. Been seeing alot of people use Menz 106FF do you really like this product thinking of putting it in my line up.

It seems to finish down nicer than FPII and also has a wee bit more bite. Expensive though :(

What did you use to apply Z-16 on tires?

I am asking because I recently used a a cheap sponge I picked up at Big Lots to apply Z-16 was it was so watery that I wasted a lot to 'prime' the sponge.

Beautiful work! The red looks perfect.

I use an Eagle One tire wipe. I have transfered the Z16 into a mini 2 oz spray mister. It helps mist the pad without worrying about spilling the product from its orginal bottle.

That is one beautiful, wet looking German ;) . Very nice work. One day I'll have to try 106FF, I have FPII and love it.
