2006 Lotus Elise Correction by Richie's Custom Detailing

With one important difference: Griots wants 76.00 for the nozzle

Eastwood wants 35.99. It has been my experience that items that these companies carry can be found elsewhere for less. It is just a matter of how hard you want to search them out.

:xyxthumbs

I just picked up a new nozzle at Target, and the thing is pretty impressive. It has some very useful spray patterns for car detailing. It was actually in their automotive section versus home & garden. Anyway, for $8.00 or so, definitely worth it. Obviously not as nice as an $80 nozzle though.

I could be wrong...didn't pay too much attention to a $100 hose nozzle. That's getting absurd.

I think most of Griot's stuff is pretty absurdly priced...

For some reason, every time I look at that catalog, I think "This is what Frasier Crane would buy if he had a garage"....

You know what drives me nuts about Griots catalog and some of the others is all the "I's". I created this because of that, I wanted something that would...

If Griots created that nozzle, how is someone else selling it at half the price? (Yeah, there a little different but common')

:sosad

and have purchased tons of stuff from them over the years. Granted, a few of the things they are marketing are just over the top price-wise. I have located virutally identical items elsewhere for half or less than half of Griot's advertised price.

That's OK...ya gotta get it if you can ! I suspect they are a succesful operation and are likely to be around for a long time to come.

The owner of this Lotus Elise had his car in for service when he noticed me working on a DBS. He told the service manager he wanted the same service performed on his car.

The appointment was set and here are the results.

It was 30 degrees when I got started so there are no wash pics.

Awesome work once again Richie. The Lotus came out beautiful, and is one sexy car.:drool5:
If you don't mind me asking, what did you use on the windows?
Thanks for sharing this with us.

Beauty of a Lotus Richie! Don't you love that central Fl well water? ~X(

Same question as Barry - what did you use to remove the etching?
