Anyone know how hard the clear coats are?
I washed with dawn, claybar with ONR solution and noticed some spots seem to be close to Clearcoat failure? (but not sure)
I didn't have time so I put down NXT and sent him on his way to come back when we both had time (he's a close friend so)
Game plan is as follows
M105
M205
KAIO (only because he's eager to try it)
LSP (not sure which i want to go yet)
we're looking to experiment on products with this car so i want to make sure the prep is done right...as of now I think we're going to test the following
Collinite 915 and 476
Klasse Sealant Glaze
He also got Souveran, but seeing as winter's coming around and AFAIK it only lasts maybe a month (probably less in NYC winters) I think I'll leave that out.
Currently, I'm thinking that MAYBE I'll see if I can get my hands on Opti-coat? my concern is that for $100, we wont have enough product to cover the whole vehicle (figure we'll cover the paint first, then the grill, then everything else until we run out?)
But Definitely, any pointers, suggestions, or even any experimental ideas you guys have would be appreciated.
